• Rowan berries and leaves in autumn

Gaelic Nature Walk at Vogrie Country Park (September)

    30 September, 1pm, Vogrie Country Park, £12

Join Bria in exploring plants and Gaelic culture at Vogrie. Learn plant names in Gaelic and English as well as learning more about the Gaelic relationship with nature and the Gaelic traditions related to the plants you encounter.

The July, August and September sessions at Vogrie will all take the same route, enabling participants to see the vegetation change as we move through the seasons.

After the end of the walk, all are welcome to stay for a chat over coffee/tea and cake at the Tree Top Café at Vogrie House.

This walk would be perfect for Gaelic learners, but absolutely no knowledge of Gaelic is required to attend! It would suit anyone who wants to enjoy nature and learn. Suitable for children 10+.

Please note that parking at Vogrie Country Park is charged at £3 per car upon exit, coins recommended.

Further information on weather conditions and the meeting point will be sent to attendees nearer the date. Please note that booking will close at 5pm the day before the walk to ensure all attendees receive this information.

  • The summer events programme is nearly over. Keep an eye on this space for autumn and winter events!
